Operating rules of Iron Base

These Operating Rules (hereinafter referred to as the 'Rules') regulate the contractual terms and conditions governing the legal relationship between the operator of the fitness centre (hereinafter referred to as the 'Centre') - Iron Base s.r.o., ID No.: 08731136, registered office at Dělnická 1506/51, Prague 7 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Operator') and its visitors. Each visitor is obliged to familiarize themselves with these rules (and any updates) and to comply with them. By registering, the visitor agrees to it in full.

Visitors are obliged to behave during their presence in the Centre in a manner that does not restrict other visitors to the Centre from using its facilities and services.

Visitors are obliged to follow the instructions of the staff. In the event that their behaviour violates these rules, the staff is entitled to expel them from the centre without refunding the entrance fee.

In case of inappropriate, aggressive or vulgar behaviour towards other Visitors or employees of the Centre, the Operator reserves the right to expel such Visitor from the premises of the Centre.

Visitors are obliged to respect the rules for entering the club, i.e. to present their membership card or identity document and to respect the control mechanisms used by the company for this purpose - e.g. readers.

In all areas of the fitness center it is forbidden to conduct any promotion of products and services, including training of clients for profit without the knowledge of the owners or club manager.

Children under 15 years of age are allowed to enter the fitness centre only with the consent of their parents, who expressly and non-transferably bear full responsibility for any damage to their child's health and the property of the operator caused by the child's movement.

The centre is open according to the current opening hours.

It is forbidden in all areas of the centre to:
  • smoke
  • enter common areas in inappropriate clothing
  • enter areas reserved for the opposite sex
  • enter the reception area
  • enter technical rooms and other areas not used for training

The operator is not responsible for the health condition of visitors. In case of previous problems, it is necessary to consult a doctor about the suitability of the visit. Persons under the influence of alcohol or other addictive and psychotropic substances will not be allowed to enter.

Entry to visitors who are not or do not feel completely healthy, not only in relation to respiratory and similar diseases, is prohibited.

In view of the current epidemic situation related to the spread of the disease covid-19 caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, visitors are obliged to comply with the current valid and effective regulations of the Government of the Czech Republic or the Ministry of Health.

Visitors are required to use a towel when exercising, both for hygiene reasons and to protect the leather on the machines. A towel can be rented at the reception for a fee. Visitors are asked to place towels on all surfaces that come into contact with the body. Areas that still become covered in sweat should be cleaned with disinfectant, which is available at the centre.

When practicing with loading dumbbells, it is necessary to use safety axle locks to prevent the weights from falling and possible injury. After completing the exercise, the tools must be restored to their original condition.

Always use the appropriate loader when loading and unloading the discs. The discs are not removed from the axle by dropping. An empty axle without discs shall not be thrown to the ground..

Visitors to the fitness centre area use the equipment at their own risk, making sure that all equipment is free from defects preventing safe use before use. Should they discover a defect, they must report it to the operator. Exercise on such a machine is then prohibited. Visitors must use the machines and other fitness equipment in accordance with their intended use. Any modification or moving of stands, machines and fitness equipment is prohibited. When exercising with limit weights, the visitor is obliged to secure assistance from another visitor or centre staff and to ensure his/her own and others' safety.

Do not block machines and stations for longer than absolutely necessary; if someone asks you to, allow them to take turns at the station.

Clean up the dumbbells and discs after the workout, it is a sign of respect and consideration for the other members of the center.

Handle the machines gently, only throw the dumbbells in the designated area, which is the entire lower floor. Do not endanger the safety of others.

The company reserves the right to limit the use of certain sports or other facilities of the centre at any time due to excessive load.

Visitors are obliged to adapt their sportswear to the principles of personal hygiene and decent behaviour, taking into account the specific location in which they are in the centre.

The Company reserves the right to impose conditions on appropriate dress and also, at its discretion, to ask visitors who are not dressed appropriately to leave the Centre or to change.

Visitors are obliged to observe the following hygiene rules in the centre:
  • enter the gym only in closed and clean sports shoes different from outdoor shoes
  • training barefoot or in socks is only possible if it does not bother other clients of the gym for hygienic reasons
  • always clean with disinfectant after using the machine or the mat in the gym
  • use deodorant
  • keeping toilets clean

In case of first aid there is a first aid kit in the reception area, equipped according to current regulations.

Visitors are obliged to observe good manners.

The centre is cleaned once a day by vacuuming all floors and wet mopping smooth surfaces (tiles, vinyl). Toilets and showers are cleaned once a day with disinfectant. Inspection and maintenance of the machines is carried out according to the manufacturer's recommendations or as required.
